1. Make sure your phone works with Recto: Compatible Devices
- If your phone isn't on this list, no problem! You can still share your Recto profile with other compatible devices.
2. Make sure to Tap your Recto on the very top of the back of your phone.
- On iPhones, the sweet spot for reading a Recto is on the top of the back of the device.
3. A Recto CANNOT be read when:
- phone is in airplane mode
- device flashlight is on
- screen is off
- camera is open

- For Androids, the sweet spot for reading a Recto is in the center of the back of the device.

3. Turn on NFC capabilities in your phone settings.
- If your phone is on the compatible devices list and is still not recognizing your Recto, go to your phone settings and search for NFC. Make sure that NFC capabilities are enabled.

- How do I Share my Recto profile with non-compatible phones?
All phones, Apple and Android, that are updated with the latest software have a built-in QR code scanner. Simply open up the camera and point at the QR code. All iPhones models XR and later (September 2018) have NFC enabled and almost 90% of the Android phones do.
- How to turn NFC ON FOR Android?
Some Android phones have NFC turned off by default.
If your Android is not reading Recto, go to your phone settings and look for "NFC". Then make sure you have this turned on!
- How does this work?
The Recto card contains a smart chip that wirelessly sends your information to the phone. If you tap the card on compatible phones, a link will open up with your profile. Ready to be saved to the phone. For older phones that don't have NFC, there is a QR code on the back of the card..
- Can I get this card with my own Name?
The Custom card can be printed with your own logo or design. After you place your order we will work with you to get the design right. Before we start production you will get a digital print proof for approval. Once everything is to your liking we will start production.
- Do you offer a discount?
Reach out if you are looking to get cards for your whole team or organization. We would love to know more about how we can make sure you get the most out of our service.
- Can I give these away as gifts?
Yes! Please let us know at the time of your order if you are planning to give the cards away.
- What material is the card made of?
The cards are made of premium plastic. The exact material is PVC and it is up to 8 times recyclable. The chip inside the card does not require power and should last a few years.
- Does it work with my phone?

- Can I update the information on my card?
Once you receive Your package use the Activation code on the instruction page to activate your account, once your account is activated you’ll be able to build your profile. In your account you will be able to update your information as often as you want. Changes made are reflected in real time on the card and on your Account.
- Do you have an affiliate program?

Shipping time within the USA is typically 1-5 business days, depending on your location.
Shipping time outside of the USA is typically 5-30 business days.

If you received an email saying your Recto has been shipped but you haven't received it yet, please allow 7-10 business days for your Recto Card to arrive.
If it has been longer than 10 days and you still haven't received your Recto, please send us an email at support@recto.info and we will resolve your issue!
Because we use USPS envelopes to ship our cards, there is no tracking available for purchases.
We ship out of Austin, Texas, so average shipping times are as below:
RECTO USA ( For Domestic orders within the United States ) : 1-5 Business Days
RECTO INTERNATIONAL ( For International orders outside the United States) : 5-14 Days
